Applications of TMSN 3 in Photo‐ and Electrocatalytic Organic Synthesis

ABSTRACT Trimethylsilyl azide (TMSN 3 ) as a cheap and easily available azide/amine source is showing increasingly important applications in photocatalytic and electrochemical organic synthesis. This mini‐review systematically summarizes the latest applications of TMSN 3 in photocatalytic and electrocatalytic organic synthesis, and discusses the related mechanisms and development prospects.
