INTEGRATING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND CYBERSECURITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION:OPPORTUNITIES, RISKS, AND INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

This scientific article examines the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the modern higher education system and their interplay with cybersecurity issues, based on international experience and empirical analysis.Formatted in full compliance with the international IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion) standard, the paper presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of AI tools in higher education institutions (HEIs), alongside cybersecurity threats and data privacy concerns. Furthermore, drawing upon findings from UNESCO and international research on cybersecurity and digital education, practical and institutional recommendations are proposed for the responsible, ethical, and secure utilization of AI in higher education.
