Methodology to analyze the economic efficiency of using a thermohydraulic distributor in heat substations

An analysis of the use of thermohydraulic distributors in heat substations has revealed a lack of research of the efficiency of the proposed configuration compared to conventional and modern consumer connection schemes in district heating systems. It is necessary to provide a theoretical basis and a quantitative assessment of the factors determining the techno-economic efficiency of using thermohydraulic distributors in heat substation layouts, as well as to establish the operational limits of their effective use. This task is timely and holds significant practical importance. Economic efficiency has been determined using comparative calculation methods and specially developed computer programs. The results have been processed using mathematical statistical methods and specifically regression analysis. A methodology has been developed to determine the economic efficiency of using a thermohydraulic distributor in a heat distribution unit under various temperature schedules. Nomograms are proposed to estimate the economic impact of implementing such a distributor. It has been established that maximum efficiency is achieved in low-temperature, low-pressure district heating systems where consumer units lack automatic heat flow controllers. It has been determined that there is no economic benefit to using a scheme with a thermohydraulic distributor in heat supply systems employing quantitative or combined qualitative-quantitative regulation.
