The Linguistic Formation and Its Impact on the Development of Modern Arabic Poetry in Iraq after 2003

This study investigates the role of linguistic formation in the development of modern Arabic poetry in Iraq after 2003 by examining how political, social, and cultural transformations have reshaped the linguistic structure of contemporary poetic discourse. It aims to explore the mechanisms through which inherited and colloquial linguistic registers are employed to construct poetic vision and generate new modes of expression capable of reflecting the complexities of post-2003 Iraqi reality. The study adopts a historical-analytical approach and is based on a qualitative textual analysis of selected poems by contemporary Iraqi poets in order to identify the stylistic and semantic features of linguistic formation in their works. The findings demonstrate that the interaction between heritage-based vocabulary, with its rich symbolic and cultural connotations, and colloquial expressions, with their immediacy and socio-cultural authenticity, has contributed to the emergence of a more dynamic and flexible poetic discourse capable of articulating contemporary Iraqi experience. Furthermore, the study reveals that this linguistic integration has enriched the lexical and aesthetic dimensions of the modern Iraqi poem, fostering a distinctive poetic identity that reconciles the authenticity of cultural heritage with the expressive demands of contemporary reality. These findings highlight the central role of linguistic formation in the evolution of modern Iraqi poetry and contribute to a deeper understanding of the relationship between language, literary creativity, and socio-historical transformation. ------------------------------------------------ التشكيل اللغوي وأثره في تطور الشعر العربي الحديث في العراق بعد العام ٢٠٠٣ عمر عبد الله نزال1*، هيام عبد زيد عطية1 1كلية الآداب، جامعة القادسية، ديوانية، العراق الملخص يتناول هذا البحث أثر التشكيل اللغوي في تطور الشعر العربي الحديث في العراق بعد عام 2003، من خلال الكشف عن الكيفية التي أسهمت بها التحولات السياسية والاجتماعية والثقافية في إعادة تشكيل البنية اللغوية للخطاب الشعري المعاصر. ويهدف إلى استجلاء آليات توظيف المستويين اللغويين، الموروث والعامي، في بناء الرؤية الشعرية وصياغة أنماط تعبيرية جديدة تستجيب لتحولات الواقع العراقي. واعتمد البحث المنهج التاريخي التحليلي، مستندًا إلى تحليل نماذج مختارة من شعر عدد من الشعراء العراقيين المعاصرين للكشف عن الخصائص الأسلوبية والدلالية للتشكيل اللغوي في نصوصهم. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن التفاعل بين اللفظ الموروث بما يحمله من حمولات ثقافية ورمزية، واللفظ العامي بما يمتلكه من طاقة واقعية وتداولية، أسهم في إنتاج خطاب شعري أكثر مرونة وفاعلية، قادر على تمثيل التجربة العراقية المعاصرة واستيعاب تعقيداتها. كما أظهرت النتائج أن هذا التداخل اللغوي أسهم في تجديد البنية المعجمية للقصيدة العراقية، وتعزيز بعدها الجمالي والدلالي، بما أفضى إلى ترسيخ هوية شعرية حديثة تجمع بين أصالة المرجعية الثقافية وحيوية التعبير المعاصر، وتبرز قدرة اللغة الشعرية على مواكبة التحولات التاريخية والاجتماعية وإعادة إنتاجها في صيغ فنية مبتكرة. الكلمات المفتاحية: التشكيل اللغوي، الشعر العراقي، الموروث، اللغة العامية، التطور الشعري. ------------------------------------------------
