Dissipative effects on rogue waves and other multiple modulated waves in nonlinear electrical transmission network
In this paper, we investigate dissipative effects on rogue waves and modulated waves in a nonlinear electrical transmission network. Through the reductive perturbation method, the dissipative nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) is derived, the baseband modulational instability is analyzed. Using the modified Lens transformation, an approximative standard NLSE is obtained, and presents rogue wave solutions. The obtained rogue waves solutions are plotted and we remark that, dissipation reduces peaks and widths of rogue waves, and generates modulated waves. These findings provide deeper insight into energy localization and signal propagation in nonlinear electrical transmission network.
