Compatibility of Perverse Truncation of Ngô Fibrations

We study compatibility of perverse truncations for morphisms between Ngô fibrations with rationally smooth total spaces. We show that, under an effective rank inequality, equivariant pullbacks preserve the normalized perverse truncations. Applied to the diagonal, this gives multiplicativity of perverse truncations for Hitchin systems with rationally smooth total spaces.

Abstract

We study compatibility of perverse truncations for morphisms between Ngô fibrations with rationally smooth total spaces. We show that, under an effective rank inequality, equivariant pullbacks preserve the normalized perverse truncations. Applied to the diagonal, this gives multiplicativity of perverse truncations for Hitchin systems with rationally smooth total spaces.
