THE LIMINAL FIELD: Awareness and Consciousness

Short Description A reflection on the distinction between consciousness and awareness. The text proposes that awareness is not generated by the human system but exists as an intrinsic quality of the informational field. Through resonance, embodied experience, mental elaboration, and conscious integration, what is implicitly present becomes progressively unfolded and validated within earthly existence. Abstract This work explores the distinction between consciousness and awareness within a framework that integrates presence, body, mind, and the informational field. Consciousness is presented as the repository and synthesis of acquired experience, while awareness is described as an intrinsic quality of the informational field itself. Information carries content, whereas awareness carries self-awareness. The essay argues that what is received through resonance contains not only conceptual information but also experiential, emotional, and perceptual dimensions. While the mind can process conceptual content, part of the informational package requires bodily experience in order to become fully manifest. The body is therefore not a secondary support to cognition but an indispensable field of experimentation through which awareness unfolds. The integrated action of body, mind, consciousness, and presence does not create awareness but validates within embodied existence what is already implicitly contained in the informational field. Ultimately, awareness is presented as the completeness of a process through which the implicit becomes lived, understood, and integrated.
