New distributional data on Euclasta splendidalis (Herrich-Schäffer, 1848) (Lepidoptera, Crambidae), with the first records from Uzbekistan

Euclasta splendidalis (Herrich-Schäffer, 1848) is reported from Uzbekistan for the first time, and its known distribution is summarised and mapped. Seven specimens were collected with a light trap in the southern Fergana Valley (Chimyon foothills and Fergana city) in June 2025 and June 2026. Identification was confirmed by examination of the male and female genitalia, which are illustrated. These are also the first records of the genus Euclasta Lederer, 1855 from Uzbekistan. The new localities lie ca. 1,200 km northeast of the nearest known Central Asian record, in the Kopetdag, Turkmenistan.
