ANALISIS PERAN GAYA PENYAMPAIAN KREATOR KONTEN EDUKATIF PADA PLATFORM YOUTUBE DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
This study aims to analyze the role of the delivery style of educational content creators on YouTube in enhancing students' understanding of mathematical concepts regarding matrices, to describe the creators' delivery style characteristics, and to outline students' understanding of mathematical concepts before and after learning via YouTube videos. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. The research subjects were Grade XI students at SMAN 4 Pandeglang. Data collection techniques included observation, tests (pre-test and post-test), interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the creators' delivery style characterized by clear intonation, simple language, systematic and step-by-step material presentation, supportive visuals, and the sequential provision of example problems helped students understand the matrix material. Pre-test results showed varied levels of conceptual understanding, particularly regarding the identification of matrix types, understanding matrix operations, and determining rows and columns. Post-test results demonstrated a descriptive improvement in students' understanding of mathematical concepts after learning through YouTube videos. Students were also able to explain concepts in their own words and solve problems based on the concepts they had learned. Thus, a communicative, clear, and systematic delivery style supported by visual elements plays a role in facilitating students' understanding of mathematical concepts related to matrices.
