Abstract

Narrative view about SUDs allows individuals to correlate their personal experiences into a coherent story through which they have been through it in some or another way. This disorder usually appears to be connected with an unusual sense of self, reflected in problematic and disorganized self-narratives. Through different researches and developments, it has been observed that substance use disorder (SUD) is a treatable medical condition involving the uncontrolled use of substances like alcohol, prescribed medicines, or illegal drugs, despite harmful consequences.
