Three instruments for evaluating AI audio tools: professional usefulness, creator-protection strength, and commercial disclosure
The three evaluation instruments used in the research report at 10.5281/zenodo.23476695, self-published and deposited in an open repository, with a DOI. They are a six-criterion Professional Usefulness scale with published anchors and a consent gate for voice technologies, a creator-protection evaluation with five columns and three 0-3 ratings, and a twenty-field commercial-disclosure checklist. They are published so that the report’s ratings can be checked, disputed or reproduced against the same anchors. The instruments have been applied by one analyst and have not been scored by a second rater. Section 7 gives the inter-rater protocol. Section 8 states the limitations, including that the band thresholds were reconstructed and may not reproduce every published rating, and that the creator-protection ratings are the author’s assessment, not legal advice.
