Strengthening Tourist Retention at the Mount Kelud Natural Destination: An Analysis of the Influence of Perceived Value and Experience

This study examines perceived value and tourist experience in relation to revisit intention at Mount Kelud, with satisfaction proposed as a mediator. Responses from 130 purposively selected domestic tourists were analysed using PLS-SEM. Reported indirect estimates through satisfaction were positive for perceived value (0.116; p = 0.020) and experience (0.223; p = 0.007). The adjusted experience-revisit path was unsupported. Construct overlap, missing confidence intervals and incomplete bootstrap settings keep mediation interpretations provisional. The findings suggest management options for further evaluation, while the cross-sectional design does not demonstrate causal effects or actual tourist retention.
