Design and experimental study of a piezoelectric-driven rotary platform
Abstract Based on the large deformation theory of thin-plate flexible mechanisms, a micro-rotation positioning platform driven by a single piezoelectric ceramic actuator(PEA) is proposed. The motion equations, static equations, and dynamic equations of the micro-rotation platform were established by combining force balance equations and compliance matrix theory. The conditions for pure rotational motion were analyzed using boundary conditions, and accuracy evaluations were conducted. Finite element analysis was employed to validate the static and dynamic characteristics of the pure rotation platform. The results demonstrate that the proposed circumferentially symmetric flexible beam structure enables high-precision single-drive micro-rotation control.
