Desaparición de personas en la guerra sucia en México: biopolítica y memoria
This work adopts a Foucauldian approach, including genealogy and biopolitics, to analyze violence in Mexico during the so-called “dirty war” from 1967 to 1982. It emphasizes the subjects and practices that were active during that period. The study includes a thorough review of relevant documents from the era, including materials declassified by the Mexican government to support the analysis. Additionally, it explains the concept of biopolitical memory as a mechanism of life management created by the Mexican state to address potential threats.
