Replication package for: Verification-Gated Hybrid Negotiation for Decentralized Multi-Agent Planning under Temporal Uncertainty
This package contains the code, data and results needed to reproduce the experiments of the paper “Verification-Gated Hybrid Negotiation for Decentralized Multi-Agent Planning under Temporal Uncertainty.” The paper proposes Hybrid Flexibility Negotiation (HFN), a coordination framework in which agents with private temporal plans (Simple Temporal Networks with Uncertainty) repair a loss of dynamic controllability by escalating from direct negotiation to broker-mediated recommendations and then to a decentralized cascade. Every state is committed only after an exact dynamic-controllability check succeeds at every agent. The package includes: a Python implementation of the dynamic-controllability checker, the network and crisis generator, all negotiation strategies, and two distributed constraint-optimisation baselines; one script per experiment, a script that regenerates all tables and figures, and unit tests; the ICU length-of-stay table from the MIMIC-IV Clinical Database Demo used to calibrate durations (ODbL licence); all result files reported in the paper. All instances are generated from fixed random seeds. See README.md for instructions and for the mapping between scripts and research questions.
