Seven Human Qualities for the New Era: Leadership Beyond Artificial Intelligence
Written companion to the guest lecture "Seven Human Qualities for the New Era: Leadership Beyond Artificial Intelligence", delivered by Prof. Dr. Stoyana Natseva as a pre-recorded lecture at the international webinar "Your Future Starts Now: Leadership and Innovation for Finance and Business", organised by Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT), Uzbekistan, on 14 October 2026. The paper is not a transcript; it sets out the argument of the lecture in academic form. Starting from the observation that people often know what they should do and still find it difficult to do it, the paper proposes seven human qualities that may matter more as artificial intelligence makes information widely available: emotional maturity, adaptability, the ability to learn, critical thinking, responsibility, resilience, and the ability to communicate and work with people. Each quality is related to established research and to its implications for finance and business education. The seven qualities are presented as a teaching framework for discussion, not as a validated competency model. This version has not undergone peer review.
