Spatial heterogeneity of Russian regions in the context of ensuring economic security
Theoretical and applied aspects of the impact of regional economic and social heterogeneity on economic security, both within the regions themselves and across the country, are relevant for modern Russia. This article explores the multifaceted nature of spatial heterogeneity in Russia's regions. The specifics of managing the risks of excessively high spatial heterogeneity in regions are identified. Issues of managerial economic diagnostics of interregional imbalances and possible approaches to mitigating them for security purposes are considered.
