Memorias fragmentadas del surrealismo en México. La mirada europea
A “fantastical” outlook is key to characterizing Surrealism in Mexico and situating its production within general art historiography. The text examines the sources underpinning Breton’s view, before and after his arrival, when he states that Mexico is “the land of convulsive beauty, the homeland of edible deliriums,” in order to define the nature of Mexican Surrealism.
