The article examines the methodological foundations for improving the waste-free production system at grain-processing enterprises under the conditions of a circular economy. An approach to assessing material flows based on the analysis of the relationships among grain raw materials, finished products, by-products, production waste, and technological losses is proposed. Directions for improving resource-use efficiency, reducing waste generation, and enhancing production processes based on economic and environmental criteria are substantiated
