The Khánh Incompressible Light Star KILS Series Paper 02: 3D Nodes Python Replica and FDTD Mesh for Incompressible Light Star Fabrication
This is KILS Paper 02 – the second star of the KILS star chain, continuing Paper 01 (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.23792206). While Paper 01 established theoretical foundation n_in(r) = [1 - Rs r^2 / R^3]^{-1/2} and n_out(r) = [1 - Rs/r]^{-1/2}, this paper provides numerical implementation and fabrication mesh. We present complete Python replica of Khanh Electrical Engineering 3D Nodes model (Interior / Sphere / Interface) with 1500 nodes, adapted from bio_magnetic_feasibility.m to photonic_feasibility.py. Mesh design: - Sphere (orange) core r∈[0,0.3R] 200 nodes – high density to resolve central divergence as R→9/8 Rs- Interior (light blue) bulk r∈[0.3R,R] 800 nodes graded as n_in(r)- Interface (green) surface layer r∈[R,2.5R] 500 nodes with PML for FDTD FDTD shows photon trapping Q>1.2×10^4 for R<2Rs, intensity enhancement 8.3× at R=1.2×9/8 Rs. Code photonic_feasibility.py provides: n_in(), n_out(), generate_KILS_nodes(), plot_KILS(), estimate_Q(). Bio-magnetic no-go (1e-3 pN) vs photonic (2.1 pN with 10mW laser) motivates shift. Fabrication blueprint for Paper 03: two-photon lithography Nanoscribe, IP-Dip + TiO2 doping 0-15% for n=1.52→1.71, cost $120/sphere, 4.2h write time.
