The MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS DALAM MATERI GAYA DAN GERAK MELALUI MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING DI KELAS IV SDN SUKASARI 1 KADUHEJO

This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes in science and social studies on force and motion material through the Discovery Learning model in grade IV of SDN Sukasari 1 Kaduhejo. The research used Classroom Action Research conducted in three cycles involving 30 students. Data collection techniques included tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model improved students’ learning outcomes in each cycle. In addition, students’ learning activities and participation also increased during the learning process. Students became more active in observing, discussing, conducting experiments, and drawing conclusions from the lesson material. Therefore, the Discovery Learning model is effective in improving learning outcomes on force and motion material in elementary schools.
