The PENGGUNAAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PKN MATERI AKU PATUH ATURAN DI KELAS III SDN KADUMADANG

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Civics (PKn) in third-grade elementary school. This study aims to improve student learning activities and outcomes through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is implemented in three cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 30 third-grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, tests, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model can improve student activity and learning outcomes. This is evident from the increase in students' average scores in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, the average student score was 26.13 with a 10% success rate. In the first cycle, it increased to 62.41 with a 40% success rate, in the second cycle, it increased to 73.25 with a 66.66% success rate, and in the third cycle, it increased to 86.45 with a 93.33% success rate. In addition, students became more active, enthusiastic, and passionate in participating in learning. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model is effective in improving student activity and learning outcomes in Civics subjects in grade III elementary school.
