A METHODOLOGICAL SYSTEM FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ SKILLS IN ANALYZING AND MITIGATING CYBER RISKS

In the context of rapid digital transformation, cybersecurity education has become an essential component of modern school education. Students increasingly use digital technologies, online learning platforms, social networks, and communication applications. However, insufficient knowledge of cybersecurity may expose them to phishing, online fraud, identity theft, cyberbullying, misinformation, and unauthorized access to personal information. This article examines a methodological system for developing students’ skills in identifying, analyzing, assessing, and mitigating cyber risks. It discusses the pedagogical principles, instructional methods, and practical activities that can be integrated into the educational process to improve students’ cybersecurity awareness and digital competence. Particular attention is paid to problem-based learning, interactive discussions, simulated cybersecurity scenarios, project-based activities, and collaborative learning. The article emphasizes that effective cybersecurity education should combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills, critical thinking, responsible online behavior, and an understanding of digital ethics. A systematic approach involving teachers, students, parents, and educational institutions can contribute to the development of a safer digital learning environment.
