The PENERAPAN MEDIA DIGITAL CANVA (SOLAR SYSTEM PLANETS) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MATERI TATA SURYA PADA SISWA KELAS VI SDN BOJONGMANIK 3.
This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of sixth-grade students in Natural Science (IPA) on the Solar System at SDN Bojongmanik 3. Learning methods, which are still dominated by conventional methods, cause students to experience difficulties in understanding the abstract concept of the Solar System. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of the digital media Canva (Solar System Planets). The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) modeled after John Elliott, implemented in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 17 sixth-grade students at SDN Bojongmanik 3, consisting of 6 boys and 11 girls. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation, and achievement tests. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the use of the digital media Canva (Solar System Planets) improved student learning outcomes. The average student score increased from 27.35 in the pre-cycle to 46.53 in the first cycle, to 68.12 in the second cycle, and reached 80.56 in the third cycle. The learning completion rate also increased from 0% in the pre-cycle to 5.88% in the first cycle, to 41.17% in the second cycle, and to 94.12% in the third cycle. Furthermore, the use of Canva (Solar System Planets) digital media increased student motivation, attention, activeness, and participation during the learning process. The study concluded that Canva (Solar System Planets) digital media was effective in improving science learning outcomes on the Solar System topic for sixth-grade students at SDN Bojongmanik 3.
