FHAT Technical Note 059: Will SOXL Follow 26-09-16? Recovery-Path Projection after the After-Hours Pullback and Conditions for Testing the Block P 4H MA120 (114.89) Resistance

This Technical Note (FHAT-TN-059) investigates the post-FOMC and post-earnings after-hours pullback of SOXL (Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares) on October 28, 2026. Employing the Fractal-Holo Analog Trading (FHAT) methodology, the current market structure is comparatively benchmarked against the 2026-09-16 candidate analog, which shared an identical FOMC rate-decision catalyst and an almost exact price pullback trajectory from around 109 into the 100–101 zone (-7.6% vs. -8.0%). Structural nuances are identified: 09-16 marked an early-stage post-decline stabilization, whereas 10-28 represents a secondary retracement following a three-day rally (+33.8% off the trough). Within the ongoing Block P decline framework (169.83 down to 80.215), the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement (114.45) converges with the declining 4H MA120 (114.891) to define a primary resistance watch field at 114.45–114.89. The note establishes layered validation gates—100.33 (immediate floor), 100.00 (plan pause threshold), and 98.47 (S2 wider correction line)—paired with PCD (thrust, consolidation, direction) execution discipline and platform-classified money-flow criteria. Abstract
