Gravity in Oscillation Terms: An Interpretation of Gravitational Motion, Geometry, and Clock Rates

This paper offers an interpretation of how gravity works, using oscillation rates to connect attractive motion, spacetime geometry, and clock slowing. Energy (E = ħΩ) and mass (M = ħΩ/c²) are treated as derived measures of a body’s total oscillation rate Ω, and Newton’s constant is written through the Planck time, G = t_P²c⁵/ħ. Three standard equations are rewritten in these variables: the weak-field acceleration a = −c²∇R, the Schwarzschild exterior with gravitational length t_P²cΩ, and the clock-rate factor R(r) = √(1 − 2t_P²cΩ/r), with the Poisson equation ∇²R = 4π t_P²cΩ_V for a distributed source. The proposed physical reading is that oscillating matter softens the surrounding spacetime, that softened regions combine, and that bodies fall together through the softer region; the clock-rate factor R is taken to represent that softening. An appendix shows every substitution and derivation step by step. The interpretation uses formulas already present in standard general relativity and quantum mechanics and predicts nothing different from general relativity. It does not prove that spacetime softens; it shows that the reading matches gravitational behavior within the stated weak-field and spherical-exterior scope. The contribution of this paper is the author’s assembly of existing concepts and formulas from general relativity and quantum mechanics into a single oscillation-rate description of gravity, and the physical reading of that description as a softening of spacetime near matter. Close precedents are cited, including Tenev and Horstemeyer’s elastic model of spacetime, Yau’s proper-time oscillators, and Czarnecka and Czarnecki’s matter-wave account of free fall.
