Implementasi Model Think Pair Share (TPS) Berbasis LKPD pada Materi Peluang dalam Pembelajaran Matematika Kelas XI

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model based on Student Worksheets (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik / LKPD) in teaching probability to eleventh-grade students at MA Fatahillah and to examine students' learning activities during the instructional process. The study employed a qualitative descriptive research design involving 19 eleventh-grade students. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the implementation of the TPS learning model based on LKPD was carried out effectively through the stages of Think, Pair, and Share. The learning process became more active, collaborative, and student-centered. The use of instructional videos as an initial stimulus and LKPD as a learning guide helped students gradually understand probability concepts, including identifying sample spaces, determining the probability of events, and solving contextual problems. Observation and interview results revealed that the TPS model based on LKPD improved students' learning participation, mathematical communication skills, collaboration, and conceptual understanding. Therefore, the TPS learning model based on LKPD can be considered an effective alternative for mathematics instruction, particularly in teaching probability.
