ECR's in the Spotlight: MASt and the Building of Cross-Generational Communities
This critical reflection examines the Summer 2026 MASt seminar as a model for building cross-generational scholarly communities. Dedicated entirely to Early Career Researchers, the seminar placed ECR papers at the centre of the event while involving participants from previous cohorts as respondents. Through three case studies, the reflection highlights the value of interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange across cohorts and generations. It shows how MASt fosters continuity, turning ECR participation from a one-off opportunity into sustained collaboration.
