TenderKart: An Integrated Platform for Urban Infrastructure Tender Discovery and AI-Assisted Summarization

TenderKart is an academic web application prototype designed to centralize the discovery and tracking of urban infrastructure tenders. It focuses on tender opportunities related to roads, bridges, water supply, buildings, smart city projects, and metro projects. The prototype uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, Node.js and Express.js for the backend, and SQLite for data storage. Its documented modules include tender search and filtering, saved tenders, application tracking, administrative tender management, notifications, and a helpdesk. An AI-assisted summarization feature is designed to help users understand tender information more quickly, with a basic fallback when the AI service is unavailable. The current demonstration uses 36 curated tender records. It is an academic prototype rather than a verified live procurement service. The demonstration data should not be interpreted as current official tender listings. Application-level testing, user studies, and performance evaluation have not been reported as completed; therefore, no claims of measured usability, efficiency, or production readiness are made.
