Full-Cycle Oncofertility Fertility Preservation Before, During and After Cancer Treatment
Full-cycle oncofertility is a continuous clinical pathway: fertility preservation before treatment begins, protection of reproductive potential during therapy, and restoration or realisation of fertility after it.Fertility preservation should be discussed before therapy starts: women are offered oocyte, embryo or ovarian tissue cryopreservation, including via IVM; men — sperm cryopreservation; adolescents — sperm banking, oocyte banking, ovarian tissue and testicular tissue preservation. The protocol describes actions before, during and after treatment using the "3 Windows × 4 Contours" model and three routes A, B, C depending on time to treatment start. Full-cycle oncofertility is a continuous oncofertility clinical pathway encompassing fertility preservation before treatment initiation, protection of reproductive potential during therapy, and restoration or realisation of fertility after completion of oncological treatment.Oncofertility before, during and after treatment is the operational tri-temporal expression of full-cycle oncofertility: the same patient is followed across three consecutive windows (pre-treatment decision, ontreatment protection, post-treatment restoration), each with a named owner and a deadline.
