Enhancing Reverse-Bias Stability of Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells via PEACl Passivation
Significant breakthroughs have been achieved in both the power conversion efficiency (PCE) and the ambient stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, under practical operating conditions, devices are often subjected to reverse-bias stress caused by partial shading, leading to performance degradation. To address this issue, this work employs a phenethylammonium chloride (PEACl) passivation strategy to effectively enhance the reverse-bias tolerance and recovery capability of PSCs, and further investigates the underlying mechanisms responsible for the improved performance under reverse bias. We believe this study provides critical insights into how passivation layers improve the reverse-bias stability of PSCs.
