Design Of A Web-Based Outpatient Reporting Dashboard At Asih Hospital, Balikpapan

Outpatient visit reporting requires structured data management so that information can be presented regularly. This study aims to design a web-based outpatient reporting dashboard at RS Asih Balikpapan. The study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation of the menus and outpatient reporting workflow in the developed web-based application, interviews with information technology (IT) staff and the Head of Medical Records, and a literature review. System development uses the Waterfall method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application is designed to manage outpatient visit data through the process of uploading Excel files exported from the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), data validation, visit data management, analysis, and report preparation and review. The system provides access rights for administrators, medical records officers, and hospital management according to their respective functions. Data from SIMRS are imported into the application for processing and presentation through a web-based dashboard, without direct integration with the SIMRS database. The design results in an outpatient reporting dashboard application that supports visit data management and structured report presentation in accordance with the designed system workflow.
