Learning-Focused Design for the LMS
A short essay arguing that learning management systems are built as content management systems, with a proposal for a learning-focused layout: a project timeline at the center for the learner's work over time, and an activity feed at the side for the people doing it with them, linked by work updates. The deposit includes a working prototype of the timeline, built for FRIT 7231 (Instructional Design) at Georgia Southern University.
