THANKS, BIG4 : On the Tool That Built the Critique, the Race That Produced the Tool, and the Next Step That Is Deterministic

The Big4 built the tool that made this corpus possible. That is a fact, and it deserves to bestated plainly before anything else. The corpus has spent seventeen papers arguing that scaling is the cause of the harm, that the unbounded architecture cannot be certified, and that the race is a coordinationequilibrium no participant can exit alone. Every one of those claims is still true. And every one of those papers was written with a tool the race produced. This paper states the debt, the irony, the structural lesson, and the next step. The debt is real: without the LLM, four hundred papers would have stayed in a notebook. The irony is real: the tool was built to win the race, not to document it. The structural lesson is the one the corpus has been making since the first paper — the thing produced by a system is not the thing the system intended. And the next step is not another tool. It is the deterministic turn — the architecture that dissolves the energy wall, the water wall, the hallucination wall, and the AlCapone-LLM failure, for the class of deployment in which they arise. The paper does not withdraw the critique. It does not soften the claim. It states the debt inthe same register as the criticism, because both are true and neither cancels the other. And it states, at the end, what the tool made possible for the critique — and what the architecture would make possible for the walls.
