Trastuzumab emtansine activates endogenous tumor suppression through Mdm2, Mdm4 and ST13.

Mechanism of action for antibody drug conjugates has not yet been completely elucidated. We demonstrate here by measurement of total transcription induction of endogenous tumor suppression by trastuzumab emtansine, T-DM1. Tumor suppression engaged by T-DM1 included ST13 and the p53-associated Mdm2 and Mdm4.

Abstract

Mechanism of action for antibody drug conjugates has not yet been completely elucidated. We demonstrate here by measurement of total transcription induction of endogenous tumor suppression by trastuzumab emtansine, T-DM1. Tumor suppression engaged by T-DM1 included ST13 and the p53-associated Mdm2 and Mdm4.
