Measuring Departure from Genre Conventions in Independent Games: Codebooks and Machine Runs

Research materials for the study of core and peripheral departure in independent games. This retrospective archive preserves versioned codebooks and reference cards, machine-coding inputs and outputs, audit records, and analysis scripts. It distinguishes the v8 calibration and 600-work seeded-subset analyses from historical experiments and later LLM coder-simulation probes. Original machine records retain their provenance and are not relabeled as independent human validation.
