Scientific Rationale for a Beet-Based Botanical Inflammation Modulation System™(BB-1): Betalains, Dietary Nitrates, and Proposed Biochemical Pathways.

This narrative review presents BB-1, a beet-dominant multi-botanical juice formulation designed to investigate nitrate-related nitric oxide biology, betalain chemistry and inflammation-related pathways. Its proposed ingredients include beetroot, carrot, radish, celery, Italian parsley, zucchini and measured aqueous additions. Published research on beetroot juice and dietary nitrate provides a scientific basis for hypothesis development; however, no analytical concentration, bioavailability or clinical endpoint has been measured for BB-1. The manuscript distinguishes established pathways from untested finished-product effects and outlines standardization, processing, safety and validation priorities.
