THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL PROTOCOL FOR FIELDWORK IN PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
The systematization of a theoretical-methodological approach to fieldwork in Physical Geography requires convergence between intellectual reflection and empirical observation. This study proposes six guiding axioms based on a systematic literature review that integrates Kantian philosophy with the main foundations of Physical Geography: geomorphological, geosystemic, geoecological, and landscape cartography approaches. This theoretical foundation supports the following axioms: location and orientation; identification and description of morphologies; spatiotemporal dynamics; genesis and dispersion; classification of structures and processes; and systemic relationships. The organization of this framework provides an accessible methodological guide for geographers and geoscience professionals, enhancing data collection and the interpretation of geographical reality in the field.
