Notes on the nomenclature of Artemisia (I): A. subg. Ponticae (Asteraceae)
Lectotypes are designated for five plant names in Artemisia subg. Ponticae : A. afra Jacq. ex Willd., A. brachyloba Franch., A. mesatlantica Maire, A. persica Boiss., A. subspinescens Boiss. An error in the holotype citation of A. aksaiensis Y.R.Ling is corrected. These actions stabilize the application of these species names and provide a basis for further revision of the subgenus.
