Macrodiprion nemoralis (Enslin, 1917) (Hymenoptera: Diprionidae): a new species for the fauna of Bulgaria
Macrodiprion nemoralis (Enslin, 1917) (Hymenoptera: Diprionidae) is recorded for the first time in Bu-garia, representing a new addition to the country’s hymenopteran fauna. The species was found during a field survey in a Pinus nigra Arn. plantation in the Blagoevgrad region (Southwestern Bulgaria), which represents the southernmost locality of the species recorded to date.
