RECONSTRUCTION OF THE GENEALOGY OF SOLON AND PLATO THROUGH DEMOGRAPHIC, BIOLOGICAL, AND CHRONOLOGICAL SIMULATION
This study resolves the two-century chronological gap between Solon and Plato by correcting traditional genealogical conflations. Integrating Herodotus’ 30-year generational rule with the documented interruption of Solon’s direct line, the research demonstrates that the family legacy passed through a lateral branch. The proposed model distinguishes two homonymous historical figures (Dropides I and II), backed by age-verification data from the 450 BC Apaturia festival, providing a demographically and biologically sound framework for the Platonic lineage.
