Electromagnetic Interactions in Quantum-Geometry Dynamics: Preonic-Field Polarization and Momentum Transfer
Quantum-Geometry Dynamics (QGD) accounts for electromagnetic effects without positing intrinsic electric charge. A particle or structure with non-zero spin angular momentum directionally absorbs and reflects the free preons(+) that constitute the preonic field, thereby polarizing the field around it; a polarized region is what is conventionally called a magnetic field. Attraction and repulsion between polarizing particles follow from the momentum each exchanges with the region polarized by the other. The inverse-square dependence is attributed to the radial spreading of polarized preons(+) in three-dimensional preonic space. This paper is a supplementary restatement and organisation of the account given in P11 Chapter 10. It presents the polarization mechanism, the momentum-transfer relations, the polarization of large structures, the electromagnetic acceleration limit, asymmetric momentum transfer between particle types, atomic neutrality and valence, and the resulting tests. Results are labelled as structural accounts, testable predictions, or open. The open points are limited to a discrete form of the inverse-square argument and all quantitative couplings. The paper is not a numbered entry in the QGD/MPDT P-series. It introduces no new axioms, forces, or theorems beyond those already derived in the monograph.
