Intelligent Child Development and Orphanage Management System
Orphanage and residential child-care organisations mustcoordinate child records, education, attendance, healthinformation, staff activities, donations and volunteers, yet theseare often handled in separate records, so no continuous view ofeach child's development emerges. This paper reviews tenstudies from Springer Nature and SpringerLink venues, published between 2016 and 2026, coveringacademic-performance prediction, learning analytics, personalised learning recommendation, and child-health andchild-protection prediction, and positions HopeNest againstthem. HopeNest is an integrated, role-based web platform thatcombines child profiles, education, attendance, health records, achievements, staff and caregiver workflows, donor anddonation records, volunteer assignments, alerts and reports, withmachine-learning support intended for academic anddevelopment analysis. For each study the paper states whatHopeNest adds, and also what the study offers that HopeNestdoes not. In the abstracts examined, none of the ten studiesaddresses these operational functions together. The principalcontribution is integration, not a new algorithm; evaluation of thepredictive modules is the main direction for future work. Keywords— HopeNest, orphanage management, childdevelopment, machine learning, educational data mining, personalised learning, child welfare, decision suppor
