This community service and study aim to analyze and document the implementation of the Affordable Market Initiative (Gerakan Pasar Murah) organized by student participants of the Community Service Program (KKN) from Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) in Limau Manis Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. This activity was designed as a socio-economic intervention to assist targeted households in obtaining basic food supplies at affordable prices amidst fluctuating commodity costs. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a participatory approach through field observations, interviews, and activity documentation. The findings demonstrate that the Affordable Market Initiative not only delivers direct economic benefits through household expenditure savings, but also fosters synergy and collaboration among students, village government, and local residents. Furthermore, the program raised collective awareness regarding food accessibility and transparent, community-needs-based distribution mechanisms. In conclusion, community service through the affordable market model proves effective as a medium for students' social learning while strengthening local community capacity and social solidarity.
