Family Values in the Axiology of Russia and the West

The article focuses on family, marital, and sexual relations, where the positioning of key paradigms is more complex. However, while the West aggressively promotes hypersexual behavior, in Russia, an urban, prosexual type of family and marital relations prevails. At the same time, the antisexual type of relationship, which peacefully coexisted with the prosexual in Soviet times, is now more often attacked not by the postmodern hypersexual approach, but by the prosexual urban approach along with the latter.

Abstract

The article focuses on family, marital, and sexual relations, where the positioning of key paradigms is more complex. However, while the West aggressively promotes hypersexual behavior, in Russia, an urban, prosexual type of family and marital relations prevails. At the same time, the antisexual type of relationship, which peacefully coexisted with the prosexual in Soviet times, is now more often attacked not by the postmodern hypersexual approach, but by the prosexual urban approach along with the latter.
