Test the Production Performance of Broiler Chicken With Partnership System Based on Production Factors

Broiler farming using the plasma core partnership system is a partnership system between two parties who cooperate. The first party is a poultry company that acts as the core as well as the owner of capital (that supplies DOC, feed and drugs, vaccines, and chemicals/OVK) and the second party is farmers who act as the plasma as well as the farmers of broiler chickens. This study aims to evaluate the success of the broiler farming business with the plasma core partnership system. The research was conducted using the research desk and descriptive analysis approaches. The primary data was obtained from in-depth interviews (oral survey) with farmers and poultry companies, and a questionnaire filling method (written survey). The interviews were conducted interactively with both parties, the core and the plasma, to uncover the data, facts, and reality of the plasma core partnership system of broiler chickens consisting of 185 respondents (total sampling). The secondary data were obtained from the partnership contract data, the broiler chicken rearing records (recording) during the production period, and the recapitulation of farmer rearing results (RHPP) for a population of 2,000 chickens. The results showed that broiler chicken farming with plasma core partnership system costs poultry production facilities amounted to Rp 71,528,032.00, with the provisions of DOC costs of 22.36%, feed costs of 76.87%, and drugs, vaccines, and chemicals (OVK) costs of 0.75%. The sale of chicken was Rp 74,028,080.00 with a harvest age of 35 days, with an average weight of 2.02 kg. The number of chickens harvested was 1,885, meaning the depletion level was 5.75%. FCR value was 1.746 with an IP value of 311.57. The conclusion was that the overall rearing of broilers carried out by plasma farmers was categorized as fair. The overall income of plasma farmers was Rp 2,690,448.00 (after adding the FCR bonus). Based on the research findings, it is recommended that to achieve a high IP, one must be able to minimize chicken depletion rates and feed FCR.
