The Future of Work, Income and Human Agency in AI-Native Economies

This paper develops an axiomatic and macrofinancial framework for assessing the institutional adequacy of labor-centered economic systems under the expansion of artificial productive capital. Building upon the ANOA (AI-Native Organizational Architecture) research programme, the study distinguishes productive capacity, labor income, capital ownership, household purchasing power, computational market access and legitimate human agency. The analysis establishes conditional mathematical results concerning labor-income dynamics, institutional distributional constraints, economic participation, aggregate demand and household–bank feedback mechanisms. A formal stability criterion is introduced to examine the potential amplification of household financial stress through credit-market adjustments. The theoretical framework is compared with relevant research and institutional assessments from the International Monetary Fund, International Labour Organization, Bank for International Settlements, European Central Bank and Bank of England. The paper does not assert the inevitable failure of existing economic systems. Instead, it identifies explicit conditions under which particular institutional arrangements may become insufficient to translate expanded productive capacity into sustainable human economic participation. The contribution is theoretical and methodological. Its mathematical propositions remain conditional on stated assumptions, and its empirical implications require independent testing. This publication constitutes Essay III of the ANOA research series and is presented as an independent academic working paper, without claims of peer review, institutional endorsement or empirical validation.
