Peremajaan Greenhouse Hidroponik Pesantren: Penguatan Tata Kelola Perawatan Dan Keuangan Unit Usaha

This community service program is a follow-up to the previous semester's activities at the hydroponic greenhouse of the Suryalaya Islamic Boarding School in Tasikmalaya. The earlier assessment showed that the greenhouse had a feasible foundation but still faced challenges in facility maintenance and in managerial and financial recordkeeping. This program therefore used the rejuvenation of the greenhouse as an entry point for strengthening management. It followed a participatory approach in five stages: problem identification, planning, organizing and procurement, implementation with the students (santri), and evaluation with mentoring. The physical work covered the rain gutters, piping, roof frame, walls, roofing, and a tarpaulin reservoir. The program produced a division of roles among the core manager, santri operators, and craftsmen, a routine maintenance schedule, a simple cost-recording format that treats rejuvenation as an investment to be amortized in the cost of goods sold, and a monthly review routine. Production cycle records show a positive overall cash balance but uneven results across cycles. The program is expected to extend the usable life of the greenhouse and to strengthen the partner's capacity to manage its facilities and finances on its own.
