Abstract

The article systematizes the organizational components of the implementation of ESG principles in the bank's activities at three levels of management: strategic, tactical and operational. The economic instruments for stimulating the ESG transformation of the banking sector are identified and classified by application levels. It is proved that the synergetic effect of the integrated use of economic instruments at all levels creates a favorable environment for the ESG transformation of the banking sector. It is revealed that an economically sound model of transition to sustainable banking is formed by a combination of regulatory incentives, support from international partners and internal mechanisms of banks. An organizational and economic mechanism for ensuring the bank's competitiveness based on ESG principles has been developed, integrating organizational structures, economic incentives and process components. It is proved that the effectiveness of the organizational and economic mechanism can be ensured through the formation of a monitoring system and assessment of its impact on the competitiveness of the bank.
