Komparasi Algoritma Machine Learning Untuk Klasifikasi Kelayakan Penerima Program Indonesia Pintar
The responsibility for determining students’ eligibility for PIP assistance is delegated to individual schools. One example is SMAN 9 Garut. In the process of determining students’ eligibility for PIP assistance, several challenges arise, including the numerous criteria that must be considered and the fact that the process is still conducted manually. Therefore, a model is needed to assist in determining students’ eligibility for PIP assistance. This study develops a classification model using three algorithms: Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN), and Naïve Bayes, to compare their classification performance. The results show that the SVM algorithm achieves an accuracy of 97%, K-NN achieves 94%, and Naïve Bayes achieves 70%. Based on these results, SVM demonstrates the best classification performance, achieving an accuracy of 97% in determining students’ eligibility for PIP assistance.
